The short version

Don't leave money on the table.

Government buyers want what you sell. Don't let the paperwork be the reason you never sell to them. Smart Gov Supply LLC is a SAM-registered small business with CAGE code 214B2. We search for bids every day, bid in our own name and do the government paperwork. Your part is one firm delivered price per bid, or a pass.

Joining is free. Most bids are not won. We invite you only when we think a bid can be competitive.

01 The problem, and what we do about it

Government buyers want what you sell. The process is the problem.

Plenty of good dealers and makers sell nothing to the government, year after year. The product is fine. The trouble is that everything around the sale is a second job. Here is that job, and who does it now.

A woman in a cream shirt takes a phone call at a desk in a small warehouse office, with shelves of boxed equipment behind her.
  1. A woman takes a phone call standing at a desk in a warehouse office, with shelves of boxed equipment behind her.

    The problem

    Strangers call on every bid.

A bid goes up and the phone starts ringing. Resellers you've never heard of want your best price today, sometimes with prepay terms. You can't tell who is real, who will pay, or who is only collecting quotes.

    How we solve it

One company you can check before you call back. Smart Gov Supply LLC is a SAM-registered small business in Anaheim, California, CAGE 214B2. Our record is public. A named person answers the phone. We never shop your price, and no other supplier ever sees it.

  2. A man in a blue shirt takes a phone call at a desk in a warehouse office, with shelves of boxed equipment behind him.

    The problem

    You quote blind.

You don't know what the government paid for this item last time. So you spend an afternoon on a quote that never had a chance, or you leave money on the table.

    How we solve it

Every bid email shows public award history for comparable items and the most we can pay, delivered, before you spend a minute on it. That number is our offer to buy. It is not a price we're telling you to charge us or anyone else. If it works, commit. If it doesn't, pass. No follow-up calls.

  3. The problem

    Registrations and portals.

A SAM registration that renews every year. A CAGE code. One portal to submit offers, another to invoice, plus agency sites. Each has its own login, its own lockouts and its own help desk.

    How we solve it

We already hold them. You sign up with us once.

  4. Blank forms, a roll of shipping labels, printed barcode squares, a label printer, a pen, a tape gun and a cup of coffee on a dark desk.

    The problem

    Labels, certificates and fine print.

A country-of-origin certificate for every line. Forced-labor and telecom statements. Item-ID labels on higher-value defense items. Packing rules. A firm price held for 90 days.

    How we solve it

We prepare, sign and submit the offer in our own name. Your part is one firm delivered price and a one-page product and origin statement per bid. We tell you exactly how to label and ship.

  5. A receiving clerk signs a delivery receipt on a clipboard held by a driver in work gloves, with a crated pallet on a truck liftgate behind them.

    The problem

Getting paid is its own project.

Government invoices run through their own systems, with receiving reports and document types that have to match. One rejected invoice and the clock starts over.

    How we solve it

You never invoice the government. You invoice us after you ship. We handle the government invoice and the follow-up. We pay you within 15 days after the government pays us.

  6. The problem

    Finding the bids that fit.

SAM.gov posted 5,673 solicitations in ten days this October. The few that fit your lines are buried in thousands that don't.

    How we solve it

We screen the feed every day. We email you only when a bid fits your lines and we think it can be competitive. Most bids are not won, so we don't spend your time on the ones that can't be.

That's the second job. We already do it every day, for our own orders.

02 How it works

Four steps. You can stop at any of them.

  1. Join once, free.

Tell us who you are, what you carry and which brands you're authorized to sell. When online sign-up opens, you sign one supplier agreement. No fee, no minimum, no exclusivity.

  2. Get a bid email.

When a government bid fits your lines, we email you the item, the quantity, the delivery area, the reply-by date, public award history for comparable items, and the most we can pay, delivered.

  3. Commit or pass.

Reply with a firm delivered price and a one-page product and origin statement, or pass. If you plan to bid that one yourself, tell us and we'll step back.

  4. We bid in our own name. If we win, you ship.

You get our purchase order. You drop-ship new, factory-sealed product to the buyer, labeled the way we specify. We invoice the government and pay you within 15 days after the government pays us.

03 What lands in your inbox

The number comes first.

Every invitation is private and sent to you alone. It shows what you need to decide quickly, and nothing you don't.

  • Private.

Sent to you, not broadcast. We never tell you what anyone else quoted, and we never tell another supplier what you quoted.

  • Our number, not yours.

The most we can pay, delivered, is our own offer to buy, set from public data and our own costs. You set your own prices, to us and to everyone else.

  • A plain summary.

We send our own summary of the public specs, so you can decide without wading through the full solicitation.

08 FAQ

Straight answers.

Something we didn't cover? Call Joey at 562-265-3813.

Does it cost anything?

No. Smart Gov Supply never charges suppliers anything: no sign-up fee, no per-bid fee, and nothing taken out of your payment. We make our money on our own bid price.

Who holds the government contract?

We do. Smart Gov Supply bids in its own name, signs the offer, holds the contract and answers to the buyer. You sell to us under our purchase order.

How does pricing work?

Each bid email shows public award history for comparable items and the most we can pay, delivered. That figure is our offer to buy. We set it from public data and our own costs. It is not a recommendation of what you should charge us or anyone else. You can quote any price, or pass. We're unlikely to be able to accept a price above that figure for that bid. We set our own offer to the government independently, and we don't share it.

When do I get paid?

You ship after we're awarded, at the price you committed. The government pays us after delivery and acceptance. We pay you within 15 days after the government pays us. We never charge for payment timing. If a bid isn't won, there's no order and nothing is owed either way.

Do I have to sell only through you?

No. You keep every customer you have. You can sell to anyone, quote any other reseller and bid on your own. We don't promise volume, territories or a set number of bids, and you don't promise us anything beyond the bids you choose to commit to.

Can I still bid government work myself?

Yes, any time. If you plan to bid a specific solicitation yourself, tell us and we won't invite you on that one. If you'd like to register and bid on your own, APEX Accelerators offer free help.

What do you need from me?

Before your first order: your company details, the lines and brands you carry, and a signed supplier agreement. For each bid you commit to: a firm delivered price, the manufacturer and country of manufacture for each item, and a one-page product and origin statement. For each order: new, factory-sealed product, shipped and labeled as we specify, with your normal warranty.

Why do you ask where products are made?

Government buys come with rules about where products are made and what's in them, such as Buy American, trade agreements, and forced-labor and telecom rules. We make those statements to the government in our own name, based on your written statement, so they have to be right. If the origin is unknown, we pass on the bid.

What won't you do?

We won't charge you a fee. We won't share your price with another supplier, or tell you what anyone else quoted. We won't give anything of value to government staff, and we ask the same of you, including no contact with government buyers about our bids. We use your information only to work with you on our bids, and we never sell it. A contracting officer can require price support on a bid; if one does, we share only what's required, marked proprietary.

Who can join?

Established businesses that already sell these products: authorized dealers, distributors and small U.S. manufacturers. We check every company before its first order, including the federal exclusion list.
